OUR HISTORY
Hodapp Signature Homes was founded in 1991 by Randy Hodapp, whose vision, expertise, and uncompromising work ethic set the foundation for the company’s success. Recognizing an opportunity to bring exceptional craftsmanship to Colorado’s homebuilding market, Randy made the bold decision to leave his position with an earthwork contractor and build his first spec home.
What originally began as a way to support his wife and three young sons soon grew into a lifelong passion for creating beautiful, timeless homes. Today, Hodapp Signature Homes stands as a trusted general contractor with a portfolio of more than 50 projects—each a reflection of our commitment to quality, integrity, and lasting relationships.
In 2020, the East Troublesome Fire swept through the community, destroying more than 400 homes—including the Hodapp family’s own cabin. In the days and weeks that followed, friends and neighbors reached out to Randy, seeking guidance and help to rebuild.
For Matt and Zach, Randy’s sons, it was a moment that echoed their father’s beginnings in 1991—a time when skill, determination, and heart came together to meet a need. They saw not just the demand for new homes, but a deeper calling: to help restore a community rising from devastation.
Joining forces with their father, Zach and Matt brought new energy to Hodapp Signature Homes, committed to honoring its legacy while building a future rooted in resilience, craftsmanship, and care.
